Adobe Ilustrator

The first thing we ever did on adobe illustrator was make this silhouettes and add a background. For this project we used the curvature tool, the gradient tool and layers. Becuase this was our first time our teacher showed us step by step on how to use these tools and walked us through this project while still giving us freedom by letting us choose our last element. This picture is a elepant in the sunset with an eagle in the air and a couple of branches from a tree.

For our last silhouette we had to make 6-12 silhouettes from a certain theme and I did a marvel theme. We used the same tools as the elephant silhouette but I chose not to add a background. I have a lot of characters including Thor, Groot, spiderman and many more. As you can see I have improved a lot and have added more details.

Next we learned how to use the pen and curvature tool togther. It was difficult at first because when you switch sometimes it will try and curve your last line even if you want it straight. But after I got over the learning curve it got easier. I also experimented and learned how to add a shadow.

This was by far one of my favorite things we did on adobe. We got a picture of any person we wanted then had to trace them out and give them facial features. For this project we had to follow intructions we found online to make something of our choosing. I chose to make this animal patern with a whale, tiger, lion, griaffe and turtle. I think this project was a good way to learn all the names of the tools and I also learned how to do new things on adobe.

For this project we got into groups and had to make a 3d creative scene. My group and I made a candyland. We have everything from gummybear people to candycane houses. This project was very fun cause we got to work in a group and we also had to experiment a little bit to make sure the houses looked 3d.
